SPORTS FACILITIES

 

 

KPS started its Sports Complex to allow its students to have a safe venue for sports and school events. The school envisages that this will ensure greater participation in various indoor sports events. The sports complex of KPS is well- equipped with the ultra-modern and hi-tech amenities.

 

It is imparted to the students by Mass P.T./drill, Yoga and providing facilities of outdoor and indoor games to encourage healthy sportsmanship character, building sound body and healthy competitive spirit among the students. Excellent sports - facilities with Volleyball, Net Ball, Throw Ball, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football and field - events are promoted in KPS.

           

 'SPORTS DAY', a reflection of sports activities is organized by the school every year. Innumerable sports persons of International, National, State and Divisional level repute are the pride of KPS.

 

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATIONS

Finally, a long-awaited day arrived on 14th November 2018 the programme begin with escorting of the chief guest Mrs. Kunjlata Tripathi with the accompany of the school principal Dr. Prashi Tiwari and Mr. S.K. Tripathi to the stage. The sports day was inaugurated by the school March Past Team. The school’s playground was overflowing with goal, passion and excitement.

The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from March Past, Yoga and track events. Many new records were made in 50 meters, 100 meters and 200-meter races. The medals to the winners were given away by Mrs. Kunjlata Tripathi (Chief Guest/ Manager of KPS Utai- Bhilai) and Dr, Prashi Tiwari (Pricipal, KPS Utai-Bhilai) 

 

STATE LEVEL COMPETITION (UNDER 17)

 

 

 “Victory is in the quality of competition and not is the final score.”

Our student of class IX, Komal Jeet brought laurel to our school by winning trophy/ shield in kabaddi in state level competition. The joy of the students had no bound when they participated and won the trophy. Students has also won meritorious position.

FOOTBALL

 

 

Football is a family of team sports that involve to varying degrees, kicking a ball to score a goal. Students are taught about the rules which is followed during the match. Students of class VII got practiced and enjoyed the learning. It is sport which need lot of strength and energy. Students learnt many important criteria’s of being in the field.

 

 

 

BADMINTON

 

 

Students have been given the basic knowledge of badminton that is how can they improve their badminton position? What is the different type of badminton shots? Etc. like most sports, badmintons are more fun when competitors can play the game with reasonable skill.

 

 

TUG OF WAR

 

 

The tug of war is an event which revolves around sheer strength and the coordination of the teams. It had the entire audience enthralled as the participants of both the team pulled away to victory, engaging their muscular strength to the fullest. All the participant of classes IX and X enjoyed & was a healthy competition.

 

 

KHO KHO

 

 

Kho Kho is a traditional Indian sport and also is one of the oldest forms of outdoor sports students had been taught about the rules of the game. Firstly, it had been demonstrated and practiced later. It is a personal development tool for the one who loves to take up the challenge. Students learnt/ acquired the knowledge on a particular game.

 

 

DISTRICT LEVEL KABADDI COMPETITION (UNDER 17)

 

 

District level kabaddi tournament U17 held at Deepshikha, Utai, where more than fifteen school had been participated and was appreciable. The participants showed their best performance among which the participants of our school played very well. Even though they did not get any position but highly appreciated by the sports officer.

 

 

 

TUG OF WAR CAMPION SHIP (STATE LEVEL UNDER 17)

 

 

Tug of war campion ship 2019 state level U17 held at balod. The champions of our school secured second position & brought laurel to our school and the participants would had been appreciated by the school principal Dr. Prashi Tiwari at school. Almost more than twenty-five school had been participated. It was a healthy competition
